NUMBER 9

      On April 12th, 1954, the Peet and Kimball families went for a dusty ride on Number 9, a mineral train on the Keeler Branch in the Owens Valley. It was replaced by diesel power in October, 1954.  Number 9 currently resides at the old depot in Laws, California.
