BILL AND RAMA
Tansy, a pound dog,was a gift from Bill's son and his wife. Bill and Margaret missed Rama very much after he was killed by a car. Tansy quickly took Rama's place and according to Bill and Margaret, she was the smartest most wonderful dog in the world.

LUCY, LINUS AND CHARLIE BROWN

Charley Brown, Lucy and Linus(in the back), were near death when they were found on Malibu Canyon road. Tansy got along well with them and was best friends with Linus. Linus and Tansy would often sleep next to each other. These three cats were part of the story of Capyboppy.

There were other dogs, cats and birds that were part of Bill Peet's family. Virtually all of them were rescued, not purchased.
